Growing up in a small town in Northern California, I always had an interest in wildlife. In junior high, my Nature Study teacher/ hobbyist taxidermist, mentored me in taxidermy which led me to work for a local taxidermist through high school. During my years in the Navy, the logging industry, and throughout my carpentry career, I have always continued my pursuits in the art of taxidermy.
Deciding to make taxidermy a full time endeavor introduced me to the California Taxidermy Association in the spring of 1999. I entered competitions and attended seminars offered by the association, honing my skills and earning competition ribbons. These seminars and competitions have offered me updated information and materials to improve my skills. The critiques I have received from world class judges have provided me the confidence to fulfill a lifetime goal of creating wildlife art that my many devoted customers have enjoyed year after year.
From love of birds to bison & beyond, my continuing goal is to present to you, my customer, realistic and artistic wildlife art with quality to last a lifetime.
I look forward to earning your business and respect so that we may together continue to enjoy wildlife art throughout the years to come.
